#NoJusticeNoPeace A Collection of Minnesota Histories on the 2020 Protest Movement is a multi-part, integrated project that seeks to provide a platform to build a Minnesota community through sharing stories related to the 2020 Protest Movement. It will present multiple media options for educating Minnesotan’s on issues of diversity and inclusion and their history relating to them.
Our presentor, Drake Burke, will share their story of why they are doing this work. They will share boots on the ground experience of the start of the protests after the murder of George Floyd. We will get a preview of this project and get to learn about history as it happens.

Real, effective solutions need to address root causes. Knowing history will enable us to view present issues and concerns with a wide lens and allow us to examine what forces within our current economic and political structures promote and uphold unjust systems.
