George Floyd’s brutal killing by police officers in US has led to international outrage and inspired protests, mass political education and new projects to tackle institutional racism around the world.

In this context, we’re excited be launching a new series of ‘Power to the Women’ events with a panel exploring anti-racism and activism in Nottingham. We hope participants will leave feeling educated, inspired and ready to take action against racism in Nottingham. There will be plenty of time for questions and ideas from the audience. This is a women* only event.
