About this Event

This is a Unity March for All York County Families and surrounding areas who are against injustice – so we are asking for a countywide shutdown in solidarity with the request of a State-wide shut-down to allow people to take apart of this Historic event.

Covid-19 has made it difficult for those who were planning to attend the 57th March on Washington. So, we must gather locally, safely and in observance of Social Distancing to commemorate this historical event in History.

The Unity March for York County will take place on August 28th 2020 — the 57th anniversary of the historical March on Washington, where Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his “I Have a Dream” speech.

Help us reach our statewide goal of 60,000+ people to take the streets in SC safely social distancing with masks.
